Terms:
All work requires
a customer approved specification and a purchase order. We will
quote and design the supply to your specification. Be sure that
what you specify is what you want. If you are not sure we will help
you with your spec.
Any
change to the specification requires a written change order from
the customer. Work on the project will cease upon notification
of a specification change until the customer issues an amended
purchase order reflecting the engineering changes and new project
cost.
All
work requires a prepayment of one third of the value of the contract.
We
bill on a progress payment basis for the remainder of the contract
in four equal payments as follows:
- On
customer acceptance of design concept
- On
Completion of paper design
- On
Completion of prototype assembly and testing by us
- On
customer acceptance and design transfer
All
work is billed at net ten days.
All
work on the contracted project will cease if any invoice is overdue
by more than fifteen days.
Invoices
over due by more than 30 days will incur a 1.5% per month late
fee.
Incidental
expenses required to complete the project are billed to the customer.
Rates:
If the customer
is providing a complete specification and a statement of work the
project will be quoted on a fixed cost bid.
If
the customer does not have a formal specification and statement
of work, the project will billed at an hourly rate of $95.00 per
hour.
Travel
to the customer's place of business is billed at $95.00 per hour
plus travel expenses.
